About Gili

After the success of Gili’s Automotive, I decided to begin a new challenge and develop a state-of-the-art, green autobody repair shop. I am thrilled my vision has become a reality in creating Gili’s Autobody. Our goal at Gili’s Autobody is to provide our customers with state-of-the art technologies and unsurpassed repair service while using eco-friendly technologies to help our customers keep their carbon footprint low.

A bit of history about how I became the owner of Gili’s Automotive and Gili’s Autobody … I was given the opportunity to work in a gas station as a mechanic’s helper when I first arrived from Israel in 1993. Education has always been very important to me, so after working during the day at the station, I trained at night over the course of six years to achieve a variety of automotive certifications. My investment in education paid off, and I excelled quickly. Within two years, I became a Certified Master Technician. I also studied for and received a Maryland State Inspection License. For the past twelve years, I have been a master emission technician.

Every day, I see the need to lower our carbon footprint that we are leaving on our mother earth. I am passionate that I can make a difference for my three daughters and your children by using practices in Gili’s Autobody to help keep our environment clean. I am an avid cyclist, personally contributing to the reduction in pollution by biking to work as much as possible.

At Gili’s Autobody, we ensure that all hazardous materials are properly used, stored, and disposed of with environmentally safe procedures. By doing so, this decreases the risk of water, air and landfill contamination on our planet. The used oil we collect from vehicles is recycled as well as our metals, plastics, cardboard and paper wastes.

We also use an environmentally friendly waterborne painting technology to meet the standards that will be set for the industry in Maryland over the next few years By using these products we reduce application time and materials usage while giving our customers the glossiest, most durable finish in the industry. I want to help lower the environmental impact by using paints that are safe not only for the environment, but people as well. Waterborne paints are odorless and 45% less harmful to the environment than solvent based paint.
