Our ‘Green’ Shop

Gili’s Autobody pledges to do our part in keeping our environment clean. We ensure that all hazardous materials are properly used, stored, and disposed of with environmentally safe procedures. By doing so, this decreases the risk of water, air and landfill contamination. The used oil we collect from vehicles is recycled as well as our metals, plastics, cardboard and paper wastes.

Our automobile repair paint shop uses environmentally friendly waterborne painting technology to meet the standards that will be set for the industry in Maryland over the next few years. Our automobile paint shop uses water-based paints. By using these products we reduce application time and materials usage while giving our customers the glossiest, most durable finish in the industry. Our green autobody repair shop in Rockville, Maryland is compliant to reduce emissions by using a water-based paint in an environmentally friendly, made in the USA, Garmat downdraft spray booth. The drying system in our state-of-the art environmentally friendly spray booth houses a unique drying system to accelerate the air flow around the car making the drying process more efficient and using less energy. Gili’s Autobody uses the same water-based paint that car manufacturers use.
